The task begins with an unbelievable amount of parts to be
cut using "Gwendolyn" our trusty mistress of the CNC's.
The Parts begin
to pile up as Shelley has the task of cleaning up most of
them...WHY is she smiling??!!

My buddy Mark
and I begin to attach some hardware into the bottoms of the
stage keeping the masking on the parts to avoid greasy
fingerprints from excessive Cheeto munching.
The gimmicks
begin to take shape one at a time...lots of parts to deal
with as we make 48 units for the first run. It is a tough
task to maintain the quality level I expect from myself but
someone's gotta do it :)
More secret
gimmicks taking shape. What the hell are those?! You will
soon know once you get yours.
Mark at the
sanding wheel smoothing up the plex tubes that will soon
become the "Green Room".
Yet another
gimmick fresh out of the paint booth after getting the tips
painted yellow. Now to make the a bit more magical...
OK...I
forgot to cut some parts! So back to Gwendolyn to
machine up yet more parts!
Installing
the trim onto the stages after Shelley had applied all
the stars. Now things are finally taking shape and I am
seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
There are
over 190 custom printed vinyl stickers that ALL have to
be HAND CUT by yours truly. I really was dreading the
point of the process but it seemed to go well. We use a
special sticker process that is the highest quality in
the industry. These things are near BULLET PROOF!!
I am now
applying the stickers to the Clocks. So far so good. Now
Mark will be installing the clock dial gimmicks...thank
God he has to do that. It seems simple but turned out to
be a bit tricky.
The stages
are taking shape and pretty much done. Still lots more
to go and we are behind schedule so that is all for
now!!!
